Precariously Pinging Pistons

Too sick to handle loud noises right now. Assembled a mellow patch, letting the more subdued and gentle side of the Piston Honda mkII shine through.

Dual Piston Honda mkII's routed through Optomix getting struck by the gate outs from Pulses. Pitch, gates, clock all coming from the Metropolis. Output routed to Tyme Sefari which is being modulated by Function and Dr. Octature v2 in LFO mode. Audio recorded in the DAW where a touch of compression and reverb was added. Filmed with a Potato.

Nice somewhat delicate sounds :tu: I dig!

What kind of potato was used for filming? Russet, Yukon Gold, or maybe one of the small red potaoes? :hmm:

Dude - you are sick . . . in a good way! Great ambient, pointilistic patch.

This is easily one of my favorite modular videos, nice to see/hear a different side of the PH. (Nice to see a Turing Machine hybrid in there too.) Quite a contrast to your other PH MK2 video:

Really beautiful patch. I find I can get some really beautiful sounds out of the PHII as well. There's something about it's grainy sound that's very pleasing and warm to me.

yeah, every time i think i like the e350 more, the PH surprises me time after time with its grainy warmth.

this video makes me want to move that optomix up on my wish list. nice sounds.
