I created some wav files at different levels.

Some audio input modules will create a trigger for you too... like the Q118, which is what I use. It also creates a gate and an envelope, and you can set the threshold at which it creates these things... much fun.

Can I just load this pulse in Live and use it to for example, reset a LFO or sync a sequencer?

I put mine into Simpler and make clips with various rates, eg one every 16th, 8th etc all the way to every 8 bars for things like resets. Route a couple of those simpler tracks to individual outs and use them for clocks and resets etc.
These tracks with all those clips are great to have in the Live library.

I managed to make this work last night without any problem.
Strangely enough my MFB dual Lfo would not reset from the -10Db, so I had to use the -6Db and put the simpler output to -0 (it's usually on -12Db by default).
Apart from that, all worked like a charm.

I had the midi out to the modular on one midi channel and simpler on another, but both were receiving midi from the same in.

I use two outs from my MPC1000 sending these triggers - One to clock a sequence, another to trigger envelopes. LOVE it. I've been trying to find a sample I can use as a gate for my adsrs, but had no real luck - any ideas??

Is this possible to do from say Logic Pro X using a Scarlette 2i2 sound card routing that somehow to clock my modular?
