Phaser!

Here's the details at long last...
2FW Phaser - built around 12 VCA all-pass-filter stages (2164 based so clean!) - that makes for 6-poles, though you can also select 4 or 5 pole if you want less thick'n'lovely sound...
It took a good number of prototype iterations to reach this design - all built from the ground up, investigating different options etc and finally settling on this.
There *may* be a red standalone design using similar techniques at some point, but nothing certain yet.

Just making the first batch at the moment.
Note that it has quite a heavy current draw - should be fine, but might be worth a quick check (eg. using modulargrid), especially if you're putting two on a row.

Most of this setup's patch stays put but there's a changeable area in the middle. Currently it's a Dual Filter, Phaser and PRC-1. Below that is a convenient joystick. This recording's only sound source is one Chirper. Phaser is the main effect. After a while PRC1 delay mixes into the phaser's feedback path.

Could anyone please make a quick recording of the phaser being pinged by gates or super short (0 attack, short decay) envelopes whilst altering feedback and phase controls? Would like to get an idea of its percussive capabilities!

Very rough & ready - Chirper Proto into the phaser - mix of sub & audio rate modulation, generally with resonance maxed.

I made this video a while back exploring the Double Knot's rungler modulating and pinging a Dual Filter. Processed through a Bug wave folder and Phaser, with a quad sine modulating the phasers feedback. I'm loving the depth and range this simple patch has.

Wow was a little skeptical still on whether this module was for me (functionality + sound Vs real estate and cost etc) but it's completely blown me away. For pinging percussive duties the palette is huge, and for phasing my weevil hihats it's super versatile too. Couldn't be happier.
