Live Bugbrand Videos

Post by DickMarker »

Inspired by other Bugbrand users on this forum, I've started having a go at filming myself playing. I'm new to doing this, so please forgive any poor production or presentation - been experimenting with OBS and Droidcam with the view to eventually start streaming live sets.

I've already realised this is a great way to refine and practice playing the BB (and modular synths in general) - haven't done a gig in a while and likely not for a good while yet, and training the camera's eye on myself helps replicate the pressures and immediacy of playing live, encouraging me to focus more rather than just noodling away for hours on end (which isn't in itself a bad thing).

Anyway, enjoy and please feel free to subscribe and comment if you like it - I hope to do a lot more of these going forward!

Enjoying this while walking around on the porch with my two month old in a moby wrap. Nice sounds! We both enjoyed it 8-)

I know it must be a typo but I’m imagining the merchandising genius of a “two month old in a moby wrap”

Not a live video, but was invited to make something A/V for a stream recently, so did a video for a track off an upcoming release.
As per usual, the track is almost all Bugbrand/SL (think there's a wee bit of Microbrute on this one also).
Enjoy!

I’ll be looking forward to this release 👍 This track (and video) is fantastic! I would have enjoyed it immensely, even if it wasn’t Bugcentric 🖤 It’s just a bonus that it is.

Interesting ??? I hear hand claps, noise and whiplash. An elegant fade to whiplash from what I like the most, those Motown styli hand claps.
Anything can be complicated, simplicity is hard.
