FFT Effect Modules

I thought I'd start a new topic dedicated to FFT Effect modules, since there doesn't seem to be one and we are entering a new frontier in terms of FFT capabilities in Eurorack. I got inspired after watching the recent interview with Paul Schreiber of Synthesis Technology discussing the E520

Initial list (newest to oldest):
E520 Hyperion Processor [Synthesis Technology]
Panharmonium [Rossum Electro-Music]
Clouds (Spectral Madness mode) [Mutable Instruments]

These two I'm not sure about, but I'm guessing they should be included?

Regarding Clouds' spectral mode: it was what the module was designed to do originally (it wasn't even called Clouds), but I ditched it because of the latency. You can't have low latency with (FFT-based) spectral processing.

Just to clarify, Odessa does not use FFT, because that would cause latency and would not allow realtime audio rate modulations. Odessa does all the hard work in time domain, running thousands of individual oscillators and updating their parameters in real time, sample by sample.

Spectral effects are processed in the frequency domain using the Fast Fourier Transform. All spectral effects in the E520 use a 1024 point complex FFT to provide two 512 point real transforms at a rate of 2.7ms which provides a good compromise between time and frequency resolution, while allowing full stereo processing for most effects. Frequency resolution is 512 bins of 48Hz each.

Currently, there are 5 Spectral algorithms: Spectral Crusher, Spectral Time Machine, Spectral Delay + Pitch Shifter, Spectral Delay, and Variable-Band Spectral Vocoder
