it sounds like nothing, unless you turn it up really loud-- then it can hemorrhage your internal organs.

My first "official" Bandcamp release. Not BugBrand only, but mostly :

I just finished this release, primarily using a 3 Frame Bug system + DRM2. Hands down the most flexible system I've ever worked with

An improvisation for Board Chirper and Benjolin, two of my favorite instruments, that I recorded live this past Friday:
"One day at Black Mountain College, David Tudor was eating his lunch. A student came over to his table and began asking him questions. David Tudor went on eating his lunch. The student kept on asking questions. Finally, David Tudor looked at him and said, 'If you don't know, why do you ask?'"

Re: List of music made primarily with Bugbrand?
I admit I don't listen to music much. I used to when I was soldering and moaking modules, but since then not much.
But I finally listened to Phil's album. With great pleasure!!!
A great variety of sounds and atmospheres. I played n. 5 very loud

Re: List of music made primarily with Bugbrand?
After Phisynth's album I listened to Superstructure Volume 1 while soldering.
I love it.
You take time and this is great. Reminded me good moments in the 80s listening to good industrial music.

The interview I made with Tom is now posted here, together with some images from my Bugbrand systems:
https://modular-station.com/modulisme/itatiom/bugbrand/
It turned out Modulisme were only able to publish a few of the Bug-music links on the actual page, so I post the whole list here (and this post is now linked from the interview page), as I've already done the work to compile it, thanks to you all. It contains more than was posted above, thanks to some online detective work, but it is by no means complete. It is in no particular order.

Awesome
Thanx Palle for compiling these!
And thanx also for making the interview with Tom. It was a pleasure to read it on Modulisme.
Palle, yesterday I watched again one of your videos from 2011 with such great pleasure. The kind of video that made me buy the old blue.

Re: List of music made primarily with Bugbrand?
Your welcome! But well, I think Philippe Petite did much more work, transcribing and editing it
And thanks - that first frame was such a well-balanced little self-contained system. I've only gone downhill from there
Like a SynthVoice with a PT Delay. Just perfect. I think that video was made the very first day I had it. Before that, I've played with 3 different Weevils for a year or two.

Hi folks very late to the party here but the rhythmic elements in this piece were made on my beloved, (and soon to be expanded :-) 2012 one voice system:

Re: List of music made primarily with Bugbrand?
it ain't half as sophisticated as most things posted on here, but I do have one BugBrand-only track on my YouTube channel. It's one I find rather funny due to the reactions of people: some people absolutely hate it, some people love it. Getting a reaction is the main thing! This is possibly the most lo-fi recording i've ever done.
