uTune - Autotune state not saved when powering off

Post by acidbob » Mon Apr 12, 2021 1:06 am

Hi, do any of you know if I am doing something wrong.
I would like that autotune is on when doing a power cycle.
Is there somewhere I should save it?

I believe that was a deliberate decision. Setting up Autotune is not simple and if you move the pitch knob to some random position while it's powered off, Autotune will not work. In fact the VCO my gut stop reacting at all.
Guess when I coded this, I wanted to avoid confusion for the user.
Of course I understand that this can be annoying for advanced users. Might make it optional

That would be awesome Tobi. I would really appreciate that. It also seems i got my problem solved with the gate that was kept high when using the uTune and exp. As two midi to CV channels, I reverted back to the old firmware and using controller only for the expander solved it, sometimes the gate still lingers at high but once i play a note a few times it goes away. Maybe a small “A” at the screen would be useful to see when autotune is enabled? Just a suggestion.
