JUNO 66 NOT RESPONDING WELL

Post by guestantoine » Tue Mar 23, 2021 3:27 pm

Hello,

I've got several problems with my Juno 66.
I did not make the update myself so I'm not sure if it has been well made but in any case it seems not acting like it should do.
I dont know where to start because the more I try to have something working the worst it becomes.
First of all it goes out of the config mode by itself without having me pressing a key. It happens but not all the time.
Sometimes it will respond to midi clock in arp mode sometimes not.
Trying to put the midi clock on the S/H-LFO cut the sound.
I'm always going back to the factory reset to have sound again but each time I'm trying to clock it with a midi clock the Juno starts to mess.
I have downloaded the Max4Live patch to try to manage the commands but it's not working well with the Juno either.
Is there a step by step test to see what is working or not?
Otherwise I'm from Paris and I'm looking for someone able to help me and fix it because to be honest I'm feeling lost.

Regards

Hi,
I have seen quite a few Junos with dodgy TRANSPOSE switches. The reason are always cracks in the panel board the switch is attached to.
Your problems could all be explained by a dodgy switch.
Our synth tech list has a tech in Paris, and it might be worth bringing it to them:
