I listened to the Africa Express recording of In C on my walk this morning. Just amazing. It literally brought tears to my eyes.

I just discovered this brilliant pianist from Poland by the name of Hania Rani. Here's a video of a live performance from a recording studio at Poland Radio.
That was awesome! Will be listening to more of her. Thanks for sharing

Hania Rani is the best. Her work is well worth checking and this jam is really on paar with her others works.
Nice taste Dr

her album Esja is freaking amazing.
i think she recorded it at home. Such a brilliant recording :-)
Yes, she makes most of her recordings on the upright piano in her apartment. She's a bit of a genius, I think.
We're a perfect match. Never believe anything else.

Blood on Tracks - Bob Dylan

One really fine album. If u only should listen to one song, choose Shelter from the Storm

The pedal sounds, and breathing noises ad so much to the sound. That album was one of the more surprising listens when i stumbled upon it a while ago.
Very arresting, super emotional stuff.

One of my favorite Dylan albums is Hard Rain. “Shelter from the Storm” and “Idiot Wind,” live and on (I assume) cocaine are pretty phenomenal.

I’ve been getting into Mark Shreeve’s Redshift lately. They’re pretty obscure over here in the states, but I’m still not sure how this band has eluded me for so long, they tick so many of my boxes.

Indeed. But their entire discography can be purchased from their Bandcamp site for less than the cost of a single CD on Discogs.

I love how he really shouts out Shelter from the storm in that version :)

Their first album was phenomenal; I loved every single song. The second was good. I know most people loved the third, but it didn't resonate as much with me.

And your right, Hollis' voice was great.

Ha, so weird! I just came in to say I've had Laughing Stock on repeat a lot lately. It's my favorite record of theirs. Especially 'New Grass' which is just a perfect thing.

Listened to this EP regularly in 2018. It's full of beautiful Roland X0X sounds (monos, polys, drum machines) and I love every track on it. 100 copies were originally pressed, mine is from the first batch (blue disc).
