I also have to mention the Blue Lantern Spore Generator. Launched as a Maths rival but it's more of a Befaco Rampage rival. So much convenient control. I use it for envelopes and LFOs all the time. Maths is now only used for melody slew and envelope following in my case.
New track! Our first release in a year and a half. Mostly based on the TINRS Fenix IV.

One of my 2018 favs for sure! I put together an 84hp skif today and the mixwitch was essential. Needed a 2 channel audio mixer and 2 channel sequential switch. BAM! mixwitch has it covered.lisa wrote:There are many good ones but the best must be Klavis Mixwitch. Mixer/switch/sequencer/etc in a clever, sturdy package for very little money (by Eurorack standards).![]()

UI 2018:Zadar (my first menu driven module that doesn't suck)
Top quality 2018 : ER301 - all is top except manual/guide. Even jacks are good. I have not seen these jacks on other modules maybe because of its price.
Most used 2018 Plaits - so many modules in one. Really deep and useful module from MI.

NLC Hypster is the only 2018 module i bought... been too busy mining the past decade's worth of releases to focus on new stuff.muffdiver wrote:2018 modules that ended up in my rack that I love:
XAOC Zadar
NLC Hypster
Intellijel Planar 2
WMD Fracture
seems like i have to check out zadar, quite a few mentions here. i initially dismissed it an 'not immediate' but i never looked too closely

If I had to pick one: Xaoc Zadar. It's so good: so powerful yet so easy to use. I've used it extensively in almost every patch I've made since I got it and I haven't even scratched the surface. It offers something you cannot easily get on any other platform. I think if I didn't have a eurorack system it would incline me to get one.
Runners up:
- EricaSynths Graphic VCO: for me, the best digital oscillator in Eurorack. Like Zadar also used a screen and menu system well
- Pittsburgh lifeforms primary oscillator: perhaps my favourite analogue oscillator
- MI Stages: so well thought out and useful
Honourable mentions:
- MI Tides 18: a solid improvement on an already excellent module
- EricaSynths Black Hole DSP 2: a bit hissy but otherwise much better than I thought it was going to be and I thought it was going to be good
- G-Storm Electro 101-VCF: hits me right in the nostalgias

Most used modules are the Erica Synths Drum Stereo Mixer and the Befaco Output V3, simple workhorses and the only one which are always patched.
But most hyped module for me is the Malekko Quad ENV, really useful for live improvisation, but especially in combination with the 8+ it is really a well paired preset system.
