50 minutes of live techno I just recorded with LIP playing a big role as you'll hear, nothing too intricate, but having fun getting to know my modules!

Little sonic techno loop of the LIP going in the ssf/wmd MMF and inside the ER301. Three of four short loops playing in and out.

Both LIP and MMF seems to pair nicely together. Getting mine soon to have my proper idea. Great loops here !

I love MMF ! Perfect little filter. And I find it less cramped and more clean looking than the new C4rbon.

LIP question: If I send an external envelope from my Function to Fold (for example), what is the behaviour of the "envelope send" knob... I'm hoping it becomes an attenuator for the external CV from Function rather than internal CV from the LIP envelope...

env send knobs are just for the internal envelope, cv signals needs to be attenuated externally with something else

If you don’t have an attenuator or attenuverter in your rack you are seriously missing out. One of the most useful utilities out there.

ofc I do, I just prefer attenuversion options to be built into the modules themselves.

That’s a shame. The LIP offers so much more than the LI even aside from the envelope sends.

Also, it’s strange because there are no attenuversion options on the standard LI either

Attenuversion or offset... the age old question. I usually send modulation from my es-3 or maths. Both of them offer attenuversion in house. If I don’t have attenuversion available I can tie up one channel of my quadratt for the duty. If my Loquelic (for instance) automatically attenuverts incoming signals then I have to use two channels of quadratt to set the offset and use Loquelic to attenuvert so obviously I’d rather let the Loquelic add offset and only tie up one channel of Quadratt.

Just picked up a mk1 LI and I'm having issues with pitch cv and tuning over octaves. I've read that it doesnt accept negative voltages and can only track 0V-5V. Does anyone know how to calibrate it? I am not sure what the manual means in relation to calibration. It sounds absolutely savage though! I want to get it working with my other modules asap!

LIP is providing the bassline on this little jam, thru MMF wmd/ssf filter it makes some great acid lines.
I'm also processing a kick drum with the NTO serge sine output which make some nice sub tones.

Late to the game. Just bought one new, because I couldn't find one used. If they present an updated version in the next weeks I'm gonna be mad. But it seems like the Percido is the updated version, which is just too big and too much for my taste. I have enough shifter/shaper/modulators I wanna treat this thing with

I am also very late ... could not resist and just ordered a LIP to pair with a BIA based on the following beauty. Next stop seems to be a LxD :help:

I’ve read at multiple times here and on The web, that NI module could lack of low-end
Could you confirm or infirm that for the LIP ?
