Re: Erica Sample Drum

Sampledrum has a performance screen where you can assign the 6 knobs to anything you want. If you're looking for something performance-based, that screen will help. Realtime sampling is probably not what you want to use it for. You can auto-slice based on strict time divisions. I tend to use that an...

Re: Erica Sample Drum

Sometimes it makes sense to do equal space slicing if you have a perfect loop and you trigger at the original sample tempo. That way you can retain the original feel of the timing. Alternatively you can manual slice and make sure each slice is right at a transient. Try implementing the amp envelope ...

Re: Miso Modular Cornflakes

What would be really cool: have the harmonize control with some "dead" zones around harmonic ratios, rather than strict quantization. Lots of spectral possibilities that way (so you could sequence your pitch and have the grains snap to harmonic chords in just intonation above the grain (like a 4:5:...

It doesn’t quantize to scales, according to a reply I saw on Instagram.
Kind of a miss IMHO. The main pitch control can be run from a quantizer but the interval spacing cannot. So there’s no way to stay on key without meticulous sequencing.

Can quantize flip to more restrictive scales or does it just do semitones?

Re: Kastle - pocket modular synthesizer

my v1.5 kastle synth triangle LFO stopped working. Everything else works fine, pulse LFO, stepped, etc. Anyone ever had this happen before and have any suggestions to fix it? I've tried to contact Bastl. Update: so I ripped off the battery compartment, opened the schematic, and started connecting po...

Re: Ellitone Multi-Synth Affordably Redesigned Version

is there any way to clock sync the speed of the sequences on this? For example with a pulse signal incoming on a pin cable from an external source like a Kastle?

Re: Erica Sample Drum

You would need a careful stepped cv sequence to change sample cv to the next choice at the right time.

Re: Kastle - pocket modular synthesizer

@athletic_beetle but aren't 2 kastles better than 1? It's not like this new firmware supersedes the v1.5 model. They accomplish different things. And you can cross-patch :) Also I understand some of the 1.5 models don't have replaceable chips, maybe the later builds

Re: Benjolin love

I know Rob was heavily involved with this, but I'm skeptical that turning the Rungler into a Turing Machine is the right approach. Has anyone patched a TM like this before and how is the character? From the patchwerks video, it sounds just like my Kweiwen build, except maybe a little cleaner. Still...

yup, he worked with rob himself on it.
The hype is real.
Comparing to the ALA Juggler, it looks like a new column between Osc2 Pitch and Filter Freq for that Rungler Change knob.
