Re: How many octaves of tuning can you get with your VCO?

Depending on the VCO, maybe C1 is a bit low. But that also depends on the range you use it.
Also consider that the CV source might not be perfect.

Re: uTune midi channel cross-talk issue (apparent)

Is the 2.07 firmware just released sort of the same as the 2.7beta? Just wondering if I dare to install it, as my uTune freaked out with the 2.7beta? Edit: Ok so I have tested the new firmware and it seems that the channels are now working somehow after a reset. From 2.06 to 2.07 some bugs seems to ...

Yes, the module is quite complicated, especially when some functions doesnt work, but in general it can be pretty difficult to set up.
It could really benefit from a good sunshine jones manual

I also couldnt get in contact with him, and yes, he seems to be fast on selling but for fixes, or after-sale problems, no answer.
I know it's a small company but I decided to sell due to knowing that I possibly would never be able to get it fixed in the future.

Re: Ever sell a synth and instantly regret it?

Happy with all my sales so far, but i bought a lot of stupid stuff only to find out it was crap or at least not my cup of tea. I do miss my Vermona Qmi, it was so simple, so perfect. But too big. I did at one time sell all my Obeheim Matrix1000's, but only to strike on an ever better deal. So yeah n...

Some sockets are open in the back, so check that first. If they are open you can push it through.
If not, hmm advice above with glue might be a good idea

Well not sure about the sinking ship. My first Elektron was before Cenk started at the company, at that time Daniel helped me out a lot and the customer support was superb. It was kind of very friendly non cooperate like, things have changed because the company has gotten a lot bigger, and to be hon...

Re: Decent Laptops for Ableton + Hardware

I just got a Lenovo P51 and I am blown away by the quality and speed. Had a W530 before and it was getting kind of slow for my needs. Also had a HP Elitebook, dont remember what number exactly, this laptop was also fine with a few driver issues that were solved at the end (it simply would not shut d...

Bought a used Lenovo P51 here, running Ableton and FL studio at the same time, with +40 tracks, FX on everything, CPU usage 12% - 12mS latency with 32 tracks recording at the same time.

I just got attacked by polyend on their fb psge - I posted a reply “ Excellent news ! Great work! Be really careful - the...

Re: What are some of the more popular modules that you either are not excited about, don’t like or don’t find useful?

Random*source NTO. Too much HP, far too expensive, small soundpalette. It's good looking though. Interesting, I have been wondering if I should get a pair of NTO's to replace my Subcon M15's I love the sound and simplicity of the M15, and was thinking that the NTO would be similar but easier to cal...

Re: uTune - Autotune state not saved when powering off

I believe that was a deliberate decision. Setting up Autotune is not simple and if you move the pitch knob to some random position while it's powered off, Autotune will not work. In fact the VCO my gut stop reacting at all. Guess when I coded this, I wanted to avoid confusion for the user. Of cours...

uTune - Autotune state not saved when powering off

Hi, do any of you know if I am doing something wrong.
I would like that autotune is on when doing a power cycle.
Is there somewhere I should save it?

Yes, this is quite normal as of lately, seems it's gotten worse, I waited 6 months for pots for my Bassline, recieved the wrong ones, and a friend of mine also wrote him about 10 times. My Miami started to go out of tune a bit, and was asking him for help, but he wouldn't help me adjust it, and I as...

Re: Old school jungle sample aliasing?

Akaizer or the FL Studio sampler can do this with ease It's not aliasing. However getting to something like this is much harder. https://youtu.be/5Sg0E9X1o1Q?t=97 But can also be done with the FL sampler and Akaizer. Also the TAL Sampler is worth a mention https://tal-software.com/products/tal-sampler

I personally would go for something of a bigger size as a euro starter package, but that is just me, the pico system is cool, no doubt about that, but I am into selecting my own modules and a larger case. I am sure you can get good used modules and a case for a good price, the plus side of this is t...
