Sending the clock thru A-196 PLL , setting it to not fully tracking, to get a glitchy variant of the original clock.

Seems pretty cool actually, and useful for sound design. Hmmm... what I miss is a continuous control of the speed instead of quantized.

Re: where are we on audio loopers in 2021?

It's like a modern remake of the Modcan CV Record(er). It can also do audio, but it's mostly for CV.

Re: where are we on audio loopers in 2021?

That info isn't accurate anymore, but that's all I can say, sorry. The other module is called Cornflakes by the way, not popcorn. In any case, the Bicycle is ace so totally worth keeping an eye out if you're into loopers.

Re: where are we on audio loopers in 2021?

The Roland Scooper is also worth looking into. Can be on the table or in the case and it can be expanded internally via patching to be far more than a looper. I'm currently testing the dual looper from Miso Modular called Bicycle which is well worth checking out. It can do some crazy stuff, plus you...

Re: AKSO order page is up

To the best of my knowledge the maker is still absent but my test with the Akso seem alright. Works like a smaller, more powerful, Axoloti, so I guess so far so good. I am rather worried as well, but as long as the patcher works with the device and I get some answers to my questions on their forum, ...

Re: New M185 Module for 2021

That is brilliant! Let me clear something up, as I'm reading the manual and this part isn't well written: For MIDI Channel, turn the Gate Time knob to select channel, indicated by the Green LED. I'm in the Utility Menu and I turn the knob but there is no LED indication so I have no idea which channe...

Re: compact CV to midi clock modules?

Looking for a small module (2-4hp) that will send MIDI/CLOCK/START/STOP to Elektron boxes from my modular. I want the modular to be master so not looking for midi->cv options. Only thing I've found so far is ALMs pexp1/2 but it requires PNW. This might end up being the best option but curious what ...

Re: Have you moved from a big studio case to multiple smaller cases?

I've never had a huge Eurorack case. Still pondering how to manage a collection of smaller cases. https://pugix.com/synth/all-the-euroracks/ You sir, kick ass. After all the generic modular systems I see again and again on IG, seeing a small case that has a clock divider, two logic modules, and two...

Quick question for you, this is a sequencer, right? Why name the outputs with specific instruments if it's not making a sound? I keep thinking it's also a drum module!

Re: New M185 Module for 2021

RYK hi, I just bought one of these. I'm curious about a feature I see missing from a lot of sequencers. Would it be possible to change the setting so that when in -> or AB mode instead of a Sync pulse for start of sequence (sent via the Gate if the Y cable is used) we get a pulse every time stage 1 ...

Any chance you're moving ahead with this? I have 1hp to spare and I need a MIDI-to-CV module so I'd be willing to test this. Shall we make it happen?

I use the SDS Melisma Accord with it to play chords via MIDI. It sounds pretty good to me even with more than 4 notes.

Re: modulargrid.net - the modular planner

Still not following what the issue is. If you want a module there that is currently missing you can upload it. The fact that you can't add a manufacturer is because they have to be officially there, you can't just add companies because you want to, but you can still add their modules if you need the...

Re: modulargrid.net - the modular planner

It's annoying (for you) but it works. If you want a module there you can upload it yourself. If the manufacturer isn't there you can still upload it under Other. If you don't want to look at blind panels then you can use the type of module you're looking for and look for that instead. There's no per...

Anyhow, hope it gives interest.
Very meditative and the "dialogue" between you and the modular is very impressive, in the literal meaning. Good work!
I actually sat through the whole piece, which was playing from my monitor speakers, so the sound was very on point. :tu:
