Re: Do you ever pick up cheap Behringer pedals??

I've had a few and they broke fairly quickly so I don't think I'd really want to buy anymore. They did sound good enough and at the time maybe I was just overly harsh with them since I was still fairly young but it was enough to make me feel like I'd wasted my money (which I did not have a lot of at...

Re: Make Noise LxD alternative

Have they retired the lxd as well? It isn't listed that way on the MN site. I would be really surprised if they discontinued the LxD, unless it's because of supply reasons. I've had a number of MN modules, and the LxD and the Optomix are the only ones I've kept. MN does seem to be knocking a number...

Re: Fuses in Doepfer P9

What you are doing is installing a fuse without checking first if it 3A. You are putting your entire house and your life at risk of fire if there is a fault somewhere else in the system. If that happens it will be too late to go back and read a number off the fuse. It takes less than a minute to ch...

Re: Fuses in Doepfer P9

Ok the 1.6 on the back of the case is correct and I'm just looking at the wrong place in the manual. I swear I'm not usually so dumb :bang:
Thanks all

Re: Fuses in Doepfer P9

These were the fuses Doepfer provided so I assume they're ok? Anyway I just checked the one that's in the unit already and that says 125 V, hard to read the A numbers. My assumption is that the one that is already in it is right and was the one meant to provide 115V and either Perfect Circuit change...

There are no unmarked fuses. Look closer at the fuse onder some good lighting.
Ahh you're right, thanks. It says 250V, guessing I should be good to go then.

Fuses in Doepfer P9

Hi all, I just got a brand new Doepfer P9 from Perfect Circuit. Can I confirm that I have to change out the fuse because I live in North America before I can use it? The manual seems to say that 230V fuses are installed in the factory and folks elsewhere need to change it, but the fuse they provided...

Re: Moogfest Sub-Harmonicon - What Is It?

Is there a way to expand to 104 (or even 84) hp while reusing the PSU and such? (I know Moog sells a 104hp case, but not sure if the PSU can be moved to that.) To use a different case (even the Moog ones) you have to use the ribbon cable it comes with, you can't use the PSU, there's no power at all...

Re: New Moog Marketing.

I already have my SubH & trusty old Mother-32 racked in the 2-tier stand.... I WANTZ THE LIL MIXER / SHARED PSU .... Surely Moog won't miss a trck by selling this separately too ....? Apparently they told Synthtopia they aren't planning on selling them individually at the moment, seems like a real ...

Re: New Moog Marketing.

I feel this kind of retro 70s style is what I already equate mentally with Moog anyway so it makes perfect sense to me for them to lean into that (and the actual video and music is quite pleasant to boot). edit to add that I'm REAL curious about that little mixer. Something that size could be just w...

I think MN has had a supply problem, I've been watching for a new Optomix for a while on Reverb with little luck.

I would really love a SEM reissue. I loved the Pro I had but had to move it on for financial reasons, thinking I'd be able to get another one and supply dried up shortly after.

Re: Future Sound Systems Gristleizer modules.

Is anyone here familiar with the TG2 LFO/Osc? I bought one used and it sounds awesome but when using it as an osc it always kinda sounds like there's a portamento effect going. I realize it's primarily an LFO (and a weird one at that) so it might have some quirks but I can't figure out if that's th...

Re: Second SQ-1 - why do I feel slightly embarrassed?

Desk space is usually cheaper then case space and the SQ-1 does a lot that it'd take multiple modules to do. Seems perfectly reasonable.

That's not what I'm suggesting at all, and this is yet another example of your own performative political correctness. Well, all you're really doing there is giving an example of why the forum name SHOULD be changed. And no one's 'catching the vapors' (a phrase that is also loaded with sexist meaning but we'll set that aside for now) over the usage, just pointing out that it should be avoided.
