Re: Synthbusters.

That's a 'simple chain' ? :hmm: Yes. Or not? In euro I use a lot of filters, delays, reverb… to process further etc… then channel strip, eq, limiter/compressor, 2x multi fx that are in return/send to the channel strip into fet compressor and then 2x opto in series. Maybe it’s too much I don’t know....

Re: Tough decision – only 1 delay – Mimeophon or 4ms DLD?

Yes. So the panel is metal or plastic? I contemplate getting 2 into my rack. My bad ... i thought you were asking if they offered an alternate metal panel. It looks to be PCB material. Just received a Coma Reactor. It’s great, quality build. Panel is metal, not PCB. At least on my 2020 model (made ...

Re: Synthbusters.

More info please. What kind of synth? A modular? A polysynth? Is this on ALL patches? (Verify that it's not just a setting within that one patch). Where are these mono jack & phones outputs, On the synth? If a headphone out on the synth is working but there is no audio from the main outs to any...

Re: Rack Feedback - 9U ambient - starting out

As promised I recorded a short track and put it up on YouTube: https://youtu.be/c8iuPeXmqpw The 2 big wholes you see is the space waiting to be filled with modules on backorder, the blue light is coming from the HammerPWR Busboards. Noise? No, no problems. Great sounds. Glad to hear. If you had iss...

Synthbusters.

So here we go again. I am having ghosts in my setup. When I listen to my synth through mono or phones output it’s passing audio through. When I plug that synth to any inputs that accept such signal then nothing is passing through. Yeah. Like pedals, euro, mix etc… So what is this? Audio loss? I have...

Re: Rack Feedback - 9U ambient - starting out

Hi all, here is an update on how I'm doing with my ambient rack. Actually it seems that I fell deep into the eurorack rabbit hole - but enjoying it :). Despite the learning curve, no other recent music project has been as rewarding as my ventures into eurorack. From what started out with I think 6 ...

Glad to hear that. I’ll post a photo once we get to it. Busy weeks. :-).

How is noise in your system now? Got any interferences going on in the euro chain?

Re: Put your Album Release into this Thread!

How do you like the Afterneath? It's nice! It's definitely not a traditional reverb and it won't replace my spring-style verbs or more standard ambient reverbs for guitar, but it has a unique sound and I think it will stay on the synth board for a while. It's all over both of these tracks and there...

Re: Using two HammerPWR in the same case

Hello! I'm going to add a second HammerPWR to my case (the first one is working great but I'm at > 70% of current usage on the -12V rail and want to give my system more headroom). Both PSU power bricks will be plugged into the same AC power strip and all bus boards will connect directly to the 4 ou...

Hey. Anyone here using one with modular/synths? I can’t really find anything like this reverb and I’d like to add that sound to my synths/euro. Now. Besides cv, outputs/inputs and input trim there are no differences, no? Can I get away with the pedal? Won’t it be too hot of a signal when sending th...

Re: Afterneath Reverb Pedal vs. Euro version.

You could use either. The pedal has more flexibility since it’s encased and the euro version is better for euro signals but the pedal could be used with a pedal interface module but I used the Avalanche Run pedal with eurorack and just attenuated the signal before it went to the pedal. Yeah both wo...

Re: Afterneath Reverb Pedal vs. Euro version.

I keep bugging them on social media to do the Avalanche Run for Euro. 🤞 Been my go to Delay/Reverb for my Prophet Rev2 and Sub37 for a while without any real issues. Doesn’t seem to be too hot for the pedal. Though I’m guessing it wouldn’t fair as well (at all) in the euro context without a dedicat...

Seems like there is almost no demos or threads for this module. You'll be able to find everything you need here: Animal Factory YouTube As i may have mentioned, i love my Mimeophon and use it much of the time. But i find it to be much "cleaner" than the Coma Reactor. The latter can get pr...

Re: Tough decision – only 1 delay – Mimeophon or 4ms DLD?

Do you know if Coma has a metal panel? I'm not aware that they offer any alternate panels. And i doubt that it is a popular enough module for someone to design and offer an alternate for sale. That said, i think it's one of the coolest panels in my rack. Yes. So the panel is metal or plastic? I con...

I love my Mimeophon, and it finds its way into many of my patches. The Color feature is also a favorite of mine. I don't have experience with the DLD to comment there. But i did also want to mention the Animal Factory Coma Reactor. It has feedback, send/receive with feedback, and some other special...

Some new tracks. DFAM and Lyra 8 minimal drones and rumbles. I've been neglecting these instruments for too long and decided to just finally sit down and hit record. Mostly done in one take with very minimal editing. There's some additional love on here from the Red Panda Tensor, EQD Afterneath, an...
