Re: Rack Feedback - 9U ambient - starting out
Using Arbhar and Lubadh on Konstant Lab power and filtered busboard. No noise issue here, unless I mess up gain staging. Anyway, I have them plugged in the unfiltered section with the CV mod modules, audio modules I have connected to the filtered section. I thought that is as described in the manua...

Re: Rack Feedback - 9U ambient - starting out
I would recommend trying to mix and match their placement in the rack. Next to other modules etc… that might fix it for you. :-). I tried it all - pulled the whole rack apart. Finally only those two where left - no other modules. I was able to return them and filled the space with other modules. No...

Re: Anyone else still uses old software despite years?
I feel that. I will receive MSQ700 today. Then I should be set. Now I need good OS rig up and running. The new Mac Studio M1 Max with 64gb ram should be good upgrade from 2012… for Live 11. I think. They released full native support so Intel makes no sense anymore. There are some cool things in 11....

Re: Recommendations of power supply for DIY case
OP here, thanks for all the input! Ive had Trogotronic recommended to me by my local dealer today. They also recommended Konstant Lab - Hammer. Anyone got experience of their gear? It’s great. Zero issues. Thanks 🙏🏻 Yeah. I worked on that project for some time. I can vouch for quality of these desi...

Re: Rack Feedback - 9U ambient - starting out
My rack is running almost 24/7 - absolutely no issues. I had some problems with noise, but it turned out to be a problem with some digital modules (Instruo Arbhar and Lubadh), so I had to remove those. As this is my first case, I have no comparison, but I can tell you I am very picky if somethings ...

Re: Anyone else still uses old software despite years?
Its not that old, but I still use Ableton 9  The best. If it work - why change it? 8-) Exactly haha. Well after forced update I have to go with 11 now. But it’s cool. Tempo follow is great. I might get the new one as well. Sort of setting up a new place for the studio, so it is a good time to...

System worked fine for a few years until I changed out a PR for a 252e. Problems ever since. 259e, worked fine with the new configuration for a few days, all of a sudden bricked. Now my 223e...worked fine with the changes for a few weeks, now it's bricked. Contacted buchla and put in a support tick...

< snip> This info will let you check which OS is compatible with your 2014 machine, and provides links to download OS versions older than the latest from the App Store (Apple sort of hides them). https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683 < snip > Thanks for that - very useful. Re: Elektron Syntakt
No master comp. No chorus… btw how many poly voices this can do? Starting to watch some videos. It looks like the FX track can function like a compressor, with triggers acting as sidechain. Loopop's video shows this. Watching. There’s no way huge polyphony will happen on this one. Most sound engine...

Re: Rant about used module price inflation
I am with you on this. Would you like ~ used Mangrove, couple years old, with rack rash etc... for 350-450€? When a new one costs like 299€? :hmm: :despair:  :foul: New Mangroves are by no means easily obtained, hence the markups on Reverb. If I could get one new for 299, I would. But you have...

Vector Space - cv combo ideas.
Hey. Module is on the way. What’s your fave way to use it for patches? Is there a way how to achieve very constant cv on all of the 17 outs so it could work in a big patch?

Wow. Do you know which are the ones Sean worked on? If any? I feel like most of them, I’ve used fluid, dubstation and a couple others for a while now. Hoping the pitch shifters still work on my system. I also just saw this Tonebooster just released their legacy plugins too: https://www.musicradar.c...

Re: Recommendations for FX needs.
Hm. I am not really a fan of multi-fx modules or at least I do not have any in my rack. I go with individual blocks. For reverb check the Afterneath that is very unique sounding. For delay WoW and Flutter from Snazzy FX, Coma Reactor, Doepfer BBD delay 4096... so nice.
