Re: Tubbutec & LPZW.modules 6m0d6

Yes, all the PCBs are populated with the SMT parts. We test checked one of the the production units already and it works nicely. The potentiometers should be here last week of January. After that the modules will be fully assembled. In the meantime we build the test setup for mass testing. I can't p...

Re: compressor module for kicks

Maybe get a second kick module that sounds harder to begin with. A little saturation goes a long way too.

Re: LPZW.modules TRAM8 MIDI Converter

there are two problems with pitch values. 1) I've used TL074 for the out buffers so there might be an non-calibratable positive offset (you can't make the DAC put out negative voltages) 2) User interface for gain error calibration might be a lot of work however I have the code and schematics on Gith...

Re: Tubbutec & LPZW.modules 6m0d6

Little update on the progress: we started production last week. We ordered front panels (should be here in abut 2 weeks) and ordered the PCBs. All the critical SMD parts are here and the assembly is scheduled. The only thing we are still waiting on are the potentiometers, they have been ordered a wh...

Re: LPZW.modules TRAM8 MIDI Converter

Hello! Just wondering if there's been any updates for the Analog Rytm? Thanks! I wanted to make the firmware and decided to read thru Elektronauts before to see if that issue is dealt with already. I am uncertain really since I do not own an Analog Rytm but this sounds like the custom firmware is u...

Re: King of the Kicks

You need a filter that produces self resonance over the whole spectrum. Most OTA 4-stage filters will do fine. Original Minimoog and SVF designs probably not. One of the best filters for it is Ripples, which also has a build in VCA so you can shape pitch and loudness in the same module. This right ...

Re: King of the Kicks

Hey friends! Just In case anyone hadn't heard, I also have what I think is a pretty strong entry into the kick drum world (and it does bass too!) with B2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEF2iCuUvlo https://westonaudio.com/b2.html cool features .. a mate of mine has some of your stuff in his case. ...

Re: Teenage Engineering PO

SO what you are aiming for is to use the stereo input jack of my adapter like this:
left/tip: clock
right/ring: upload data / samples / audio (for PO32, 33 or 35)

connect left/tip to the po adapter (as in the manual) and right/ring to PO directly

Sorry to necro.. Ive got my po32 working nicely with the mod. What I'm sort of struggling with is getting Microtonic kits etc into the machine. Should this be done via the line in? Tia! Please write to me directly in the future. I only check this forum every now and then. If you want to upload soun...

Re: LPZW.modules EC-MUTE

Hi! yes you are right I should have written a manual by now. for your project: the EC-Mute is a logic on/off so if you send it 5V you get either 5V back or 0V depending on the mute state. You can then further use those 5V to unmute things. Word of advice .. if you use vactrols, get fast ones. There ...

Next week is Superbooth and I hope I'll be a little less stressed after.

Yes .. I had a lot on my plate. The good news for you is that i changed the module internally (a lot) so it is much better mechanically, i.e. less problems with those buttons. I have the new version on my desk (you won't see much of a difference at first glance really) - I'll start making more after...

Re: LPZW.modules TRAM8 MIDI Converter

Never heard of that problem. The MIDI notes are stored in Eeprom so it can't forget them (shouldn't at least) To me it seems you need to either re-learn the MIDI notes (just long press learn and send them again) and if that doesn't work check your MIDI cabel. If all that fails, check power connectio...

Re: LPZW.modules R.Koch

you have the 1-4 button that determines the segment the encoder changes. Works quite well. 1 is the most significant nibble (i.e. steps 1-4) 4 the least (i.e. steps 13-16) If you want to change channel you press channel + 1-4 if you want to mute one or more channels you press Mute + 1-4 (works in gr...
