Re: Feature Request for Piston Honda MkIII

Finally got my Hertz Donut MkIII, and made the realization that the locked ratios between the operators to the primary is one of the greatest things since sliced bread. NOW I WANT THAT on OSC B on Piston Honda! It would be great if when you press LINK, that the big knob on OSC B was at x1 when poin...

Re: SSF Stereo Dipole filter

That being said, the manual for Vortices is fascinating and an interesting read even if you don't want one. Yes. I bought Vortices after reading the ‘Design Philosophy’ section of the manual. I’m sure it wasn’t intended as marketing material but totally worked on me! Same for me! The 2hp addition i...

I tested/repaired one of the early prototype version of this project and can say it’s mostly and replica (same circuit).
Good to know ! I’m happy to see a recreation of this rare synth, I believe lot of people will be interested once there are more details available :)

I own both IME osc along lots of others digital voice and they are both keepers imo. Very different sonically but they share similar design and they compliment each other. Unfortunately when you taste to IME products you want them all. Regarding your situation I think I would go for HD3 since you ha...

Enigiser replica incoming ! Not much info yet but you can hear some audio on soundcloud and follow on IG and Newsletter. Very excited for this one, to me it does sounds like a OG or very close, still lacking a bit of info but I hope to see demos pops in the next weeks. https://soundcloud.com/silverm...

Re: Definitive "how to multitrack record your Eurorack"

As some people already mentioned here, I highly recommend NW2s o16. You can’t get enough outputs from your modular and inputs in your audio interface. I have now have the IO balanced 8 from NW2s with a patchbay a RME Interface and a Es-3 via adat and if needed a small soundcraft mixer which I could...

Re: Noise Engineering Ruina Versio

The video with the rytm and the "simple" drumbeat sound very good. For me it was almost as if it had been mixed up afterwards and chased through a few elysia things. Too good to be true. Is that really raw recording? Yes all raw! I just added a limiter on the master in case it goes too wild during ...

LIP is providing the bassline on this little jam, thru MMF wmd/ssf filter it makes some great acid lines.
I'm also processing a kick drum with the NTO serge sine output which make some nice sub tones.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcj3w50bga4 Received the NTO recently and it sounds amazing, especially with audio rate modulations. I used the HDmk3 (with OP B fm'ing OP A) aux output to modulate the Lin FM input, the NTO is full of sweet spots and it conforts my choice to get a second analog OSC ...

You can find lots of banks here: https://waveeditonline.com I tend to prefer waves based on real synths like Ensoniq, Virus, Waldorf, etc.., I would suggest you to DL all banks available and tweak them on the WaveEdit editor which is free, scan thru each of them to find your favorites. Some can be v...

Re: Piston Honda - how are you using yours?

You can get some wild results if you use PH as a send effect via the waveshaper. Eg, there is a whole universe of gnarly kick drum sounds to be achieved by routing the drum into the external FM & then blending to taste with the original signal. Definitely one of my favorite way :) https://www.youtu...

Re: Rossum Electro-Music Assimil8or

Are you trying to record single-cycle waveforms and without clicks? Can you get there by adjusting start of sample and end of sample on a sample-by-sample basis? Both start and end should be at a zero crossing. That’s it, bit hard to manage perfect looping point without clicking with the tiny scree...

What would be the best way/technic to record Waveforms into Assmil8r and get perfect cycling without clicking? Divide your masterclock to desired loop length. Patch into any Assiml8r CV input. On sampling page, select this input for sampling threshold, you`re done. If you start from scratch, you mi...
