Re: Put your Album Release into this Thread!

Hey there folks ! I just released this album from my alias Repeat Eater. I've channeled my infinite love for Frank Herbert's Dune and the music of Drexciya to make this first real LP for this project of mine. https://touched.bandcamp.com/album/deep-desert-dweller https://f4.bcbits.com/img/a344450150...

Re: Make Noise LxD alternative

The unique thing about the LxD is that dual filter slopes, you don't find this much on other LPG.
If you don't care abou that you can look at any other dual LPG I think, even tho I think the LxD is one of the best sounding classic sounding LPG (and I had a LOT).

Re: New! Toppobrillo "Mini Mix" discussion and interest check.

I really like this slider "Buchlaesque" design and would be quite interested about this one to complement the Scan & Pan ot leave it free for more VCA based actions. Color me interested !

Re: Getting a voice to sound good

There is two classic mono synth technic ti make fat sounds I would recommend you to try. Take SAW, SQUARE and SUB output into a mixer (better if this one can amplify and distort a little bit, moog style). Set Sub to the max and then adjust the two other to taste. This is mostly replicating the mixer...

Here is one, please let me know if I should calm down.

Re: Do you use a mixing template?

Interesting topic here. Personaly I don't make a real template but I start using Brainworks channel strip on every channel as a starting point, for filtering, EQ and compression. I find that it does give a proper unity for something made all i nthe box and it make the decision process for additional...

Re: Polyend Tracker

One thing I miss from the digitakt is the range of one-shot synth samples, classic square, tri, saw etc. - these would be great on the tracker because they would take up no space as all - anyone know where I can get some from? I've tried a search but can't find anything. There is a whole lot of tho...

Re: Make Noise QPAS vs Joranalogue Filter 8

Apart from the obvious sound difference between the two, the quad side of Qpas is what make it very different. If you are interested in experiments in modal synthesis, weird phasing and pinging or top of the classic filter use I suggest you get the Qpas as you probably can't do those things as easil...

Re: Favorite Monosynth of All Time

From all those I have played I think my favorite is the Roland SH-5. One of my friend have one since a long time and it's incredible how hard it is to make a bad sound with this thing. It has more juice than any other I tried. From those I owned I think the Grandmother is the winner, I love the soun...

Thanks for this! Still loving my Yocto after posting my initial question. Totally nails the 808 sound for my purposes. It's the one piece of gear my wife has told me I am prohibited from ever selling.
Hahaha it's a "never ever sell this thing" situation here as well.

Hey there everyone ! As the Shared System does not contain any traditional noise source I thought it would be a fun addi...
