Re: Make Noise 0-Ctrl

I’m sure this is still due to COVID-related production delays, heightened synth demand, etc. but it seems like this is completely out of stock right now across the board? Seems that way. I'm also wanting to buy a 0-Ctrl. Hopefully we'll see some more sometime in the near future. I was excited to fi...

Re: Interesting Alternatives to Complex Oscillators

I feel the technique of crossfading and scanning multiple waveforms at audio rate is often overlooked when it comes to creating evolving timbres. Any crossfader with a good response to audio rate modulation will do, but scanners with multiple inputs like the Toppobrillo Mixiplexer offer more flexib...

Re: Ladik S-280 Sequencer (32 HP)

So does anyone have one of these? How is it? I have one and I think it's fantastic. The long throw of the faders make it really playable imo. Simple, but so much fun. If i could change one thing about it, I would have the individual stage gate outputs be cv control for the position of each slider i...

Re: Piston Honda Mk3 or Hertz Donut Mk3, vis-à-vis Synthesis Technology E352:

Bummer that you cancelled the Mindphaser. Stacy has been working on this oscillator for years and I cannot wait to get mine. I have and e352 and I've had a Piston Honda MK3. The grass may always seem greener for the module you don't have. I love the e352 and think it is incredibly versitile and with...

Re: Digital Oscillators

I like to have a combo of both digital and analog oscillators. Currently, here are the digital ones that I have.... Odessa + Hel. Wonderful Oscillator. This is what I thought modular sounded like when I first started following the format. So Sci-Fi (but can also be beautiful) e352. Very good Wavetab...

Here is a straight shot of the rig. How do you do Modulargrid screen grabs?
Press the “eye” icon in the upper left, choose screenshot in the drop down, download as you would any other image. Nice DiPole you go the there Miles.
Thank you for that and thank you for the Dipole. Loving it.

Re: Pictures of your techno rig for inspiration?

Here is my techno machine. Just patiently waiting on Mindphaser and I can call the case finished. I'm doing main drum parts outside of the modular, but I certainly use both the BIA an SY.05 a good bit for percusssion as well.

Re: E370... any downsides?

Something to consider: I had an e370. I now have and e352. I like seeing the waveforms in a larger view and I didn't really need to have THAT much wavetable stuff. I just think it is a bit too big, and much prefer the implementation of the e352. I will never get rid of that unless he does a more imp...

The reverb is AWESOME! I'm still learning its limits. So far I like it! Seems like a classic. Here's my spacey compos...

save money - buy another case - stop worrying about only having 3hp left in case

find modules you want because you want them NOT just because they fit in the case
+1

I'm doing the same now after over 5 years into the format and I have a 15u case :help:

Re: Michigan Synth Works Sy.05 VS taktaktak Drumbo

I have not used the Drumbo, so I can't compare, but I love the Sy.05. The sliders make for a great interface for tweaking on the fly. I'm sure the Drumbo sounds good, but the diagonal sliders would make things a bit less instant for me, personally. Check out this video if you haven't seen it already...

Re: Announcing Strega!

I think this is a pretty unique concept and it looks like a cool drone box. Yes you could just think of it as a single Oscillator with a mono delay, but I don't think that's the point and it's capable of more than that. I do with that these standalone boxes had "official support" to put in a eurorac...
