9V battery to generate Offset / Manual Gate

Hi, These recent weeks, I've built a lot of small passive pedals (in 125B enclosure) to go with my eurorack, nothing crazy but super useful utilities with 0HP (multiples, a big logic OR mixer, stereo attenuators, lpg ...). While reading about manual gate on Doepfer DIY page and related links, I was ...

Re: Erbe-verb or Monsoon?

I've many reverbs in my rack ... Erbeverb, FX AID, Beads and I had a Clouds years ago. Erbeverb will never be sold , it's totally different than everything else. You can use it without anything patched and create wind, waves, thunder, percussive sounds. I did a lot of sound design for films just wit...

Re: Hardware reverb unit advice needed

I do not agree on the Merys 7 ... just found it really boring ... It has a lot of good options (input / output levels, stereo ...) the quality of the pedal is great but the effects aren't very inspiring. That’s cool, but the OP likes the Lexicon 224 and the Valhalla reverbs, and that’s what the Mer...

It has a lot of good optiosn (input / output levels, stereo ...) the quality of the pedal is great but the effects aren't very inspiring. For the same prince, there's a lot of more versatile option. Re: FX AID - multi audio effect module

The only bad point on this module is that if you don't have a good mixer before it to tame your source before FX AID (I use to mix my different voices outside the box) ... Most of my analog osc are too much for it , it cracks a lot and I need to be sure to sacrifice a VCA or mixer channel just to di...

I have ring and module since 2-3 months. Really good quality, super fast, no latency :) never had any problem with connecting. App is really good working and looking also. Same here ! love to affect different movements to different CV control on O_C sequins (octave , pattern length, trigger , patte...

Re: Something new from Make Noise: Strega

It's like a super expansive Monotron ... I will prefer invest in a Lyra-8 for the same price ... for me the only avantage is the "pocket" format but I will probably be interested if I didn't have already jumped into Eurorack a few years ago I think the appeal is possibly intended to be more the ins...

Re: Something new from Make Noise: Strega

meh ... like most of their standalone stuff, if you're already into modular, and like me have a lot of MN modules, there's nothing special ... nothing special on the oscillator, there's a lot of modules with an integrated waveshaper ... the random options, same the lo-fi delay ... same ... and on th...

Just grab one ! it's an amazing tool ... I've always try to add gesture to my modular system (the thing I'm missing from my other instruments ... human interactivity) ... so so so cool ... like lylebot said, I find that re-centering is a bit tricky, otherwise, is so easy to use it ... it's easy to d...

Re: Behringer Mono/Poly!

I would have been in super sayan GAS mode if it was a Polysix clone. I had one vintage version before, but it was a pain to maintain in shape that I sold it to buy Eurorack. Still use the VST a lot when I need to play on my computer ... hope its next but I love the Mono/Poly VST (never played on a r...

their 6HP modules line is so ***** great on paper and like the others this one looks very interesting ! but I had a very bad experiences with Milky Way and Squawk Dirty. I love the lofi mode.
Makes think, it would be nice to have a stereo compressor mode!
With ratio, threshold, and release parameters.
Oh yeah a stereo compressor can be an amazing addition

Re: “Ambient” filter

Qpass is amazing for ambient. The fact you can tune to peaks, animate them and more is perfect to add "life" / "color" to static sounds, drones etc
the stereo animations are fantastic and it's a pleasure to play with. So useful

Re: DROID Universal CV processor

A bernoulli gate is already present as a circuit. Just the feature (that via a jumper you can switch the input on a random base) is not yet implement but will soon. And of course you can "wire" one input for several different circuits. And of course you do not need to use all of the outputs. Thank ...

Hey guys, I've just implemented a very nice idea of one of the beta testers.
