Re: Joranalogue TRANSMIT 2 - Stereo Balanced XLR Line Outputs

got one couple of months ago. Prior to that I routed the stereo outputs directly from the make noise Xpan to my mixer. Now, the transmit 2 sits inbetween. I can notice this gives hardly any distortion and far higher headroom than my previous way of routing the signal. I don't even need to measure to...

Re: What are you using for mixing oscillators?

Depends on how you'll be patching also. I'd recommend a mixer with dedicated attenuators for starters. I assume you'd like to follow those mixed audio signals with a filter, which is a typical thing to do. I have two different filter modules that have 3 inputs each. Each input has its own onboard at...

Analog tzfm (ssi2130-based) vco - 9 octaves within a cent (I cant measure a greater range, so could be more). Measured on five different units
The 2130 seems ridiculously linear (exponential !) and incredibly temerature stable.
are there any VCO modules available yet that use the 2130 or 2131?

I agree. There's definitely a learning curve and some button combo's you need to overcome, but the results you can book with this module are very rewarding and worthwile. The additive oscillator mode alone is just stellar, I think. I'm starting to get used to the UI now and it's becoming more intuit...

Re: What are some of the more popular modules that you either are not excited about, don’t like or don’t find useful?

Interesting, I have been wondering if I should get a pair of NTO's to replace my Subcon M15's I love the sound and simplicity of the M15, and was thinking that the NTO would be similar but easier to calibrate (make tonal music) Do you like the sound of the NTO? Agreed, but the M15 and NTO take up a...

Cwejman DMF-2. I remember the exact price at Schneidersladen from years ago, 678 euros. That's crazy considering I was a student back then. I ended up buying it anyways because I figured I might sell it for the same amount or higher if it didn't really suit me. I still use it heavily today even thou...

Yup, I had bleeding on the odd channels of the Quad VCA/VCF as well. The LPG mode sounded nice but the bleeding was the deal breaker eventually, especially since there would have been no customer service anymore because the company went out of business. So selling it was the wisest thing to do in my...

Has anyone tried chaining different spring reverb tanks in series with some of these spring reverb modules? Does this give different results?

Would you by chance have a part number for a USB cable that works? Thanks, I can't help you with that, I'm afraid. I had to test every cable I had laying around. From usb-cables from a credit-card reader to one that came with a wireless bluetooth speaker, none worked. What did end up doing the tric...

I have a META DIY kit from Modular Addict on the way. Looking forward to exploring all the things it can do. I plan to write up my build on pugix.com. I built one a while ago. Very smooth build. I'm curious: how is the feel/resistance of the slider? It's OK, if you don't attach the extra black mounting screws to the slider from the front panel, or at least very loosely. The sliders from the Thonk kit have these plastic anti dust covers. When you slide the poti, the covers bend outwards tow...

If i'm understanding the voice allocating possibilities correctly: -Over the midi In/thru jack, each of the 16 voices can be played independantly via midi. -And with the expander attached, you have 5 V/oct inputs adressable over CV. so you could make any possible division of the 16 voices, over thos...

Intellijel Quadra + expander is nearly always included in every patch of mine, some way or another. Is it possible to use MIDI IN & MIDI OUT at the same time?

for example: simultaneously hooking up a midicontroller to MIDI IN to control CV/gate channels 1 to 4 for a polyphonic modular patch + sending Midi notes to a Syncussion SY-1M from hermod through MIDI out.
Is this possible? :hail:
