Re: Ever sell a synth and instantly regret it?

Lately I've been regretting having to sell my Music Easel. Definitely the most fun I've ever had with a synth. Second place would be my Yamaha CS-15 that I sold to grab a couple of euro modules 12 years ago. Eurorack is great but there's nothing like a dedicated instrument. My biggest regret isn't a...

Three years for me as well. Not sure I still want one actually. I owned one for about 5 years but am currently enjoying the simplicity of my mpc2000xl.

I wonder what they can add to the 218e?
I think a more fully featured, latching arpeggiator would be nice. Or while I'm dreaming maybe it could take some cues from the Future Retro 512.

Re: KORG miniKORG 700FS

I'm unexpectedly tempted by this thing. I do find it baffling that there's midi in but no midi out. Shame since it looks like it would be a great little controller.

Re: What is a piece of gear that you will never part with?

Wurlitzer 200a that I restored. I've always preferred the wurly to the rhodes (I've owned several), there's just something sad and beautiful about the sound and for some reason I've never heard a decent emulation.

I'm lucky to own a bunch of nice stuff but that's the most special to me.

Sounds awesome.... would love to grab one of those someday but they're quite rare it seems (the ps-3200, that is).

Does anyone have a link to a compatible power brick for the Shuttle Control? The links in the manual all appear dead. I'm in the US.

Re: Overstayer Modular Channel - Who has one?

would anyone have any suggestions for a similar device in a $1500 price range? I might save up for one of these, but it seems like overkill for my level of skill. I would just like a great sounding rack saturator / compressor to put the final touch on the mix. I was thinking about getting an analog...

I'm also a big fan of those drum sounds. I looked into Acetones and Korg MiniPops but couldn't bring myself to buy something so limited. My solution was the Vermona DRM which can get me close sound-wise but obviously needs a sequencer. Part of the vibe (as I'm sure you know) is not changing the rhyt...

I'm mostly out of eurorack at the moment but my favorite filter over my almost 10 year journey was the STG Sea Devils. Very vibey (and my version was very deep but I believe there is a more shallow version). I also love its simplicity and ergonomics. Next up would be the Synthesis Technology e440, j...

I've also been considering the switch from eurorack to a Buchla easel (although I have to say that the Loudest Warning Serge panels are competing for my attention). There are two eurorack modules that I'm not sure I can part with, the rainmaker and er-301. I keep trying to replace them with software...
