Will the oscillators be 3340 based?

I have always loved the old 3340 VCO polysynths. I had a bunch of them back in the day Prophet-5 rev 3, Voyetra-8, Jupiter 6, OBXa and OB8. Loved them all.

I was somehow able to stop myself from buying the DD. but with this, I dont know if I can resist! :omg: I resisted Deckard's Dream as well as the CS80 has never been a favourite of mine. My understanding is it's going to be a polyphonic synth with the features of the PolyKobol II but sound-wise based on the Kobol Expander synth. Wow! You have crammed a lot into those panel layouts. I like the layout and am very excited to once again have a Minimoog but in a more compact package and the added PWM is a huge plus.

I would have to choose the Prophet VS (except for the difficulty of repairing it) and the Microwave 1. Both are stunning.

I would take the SEM over an MS-20 mini any day. I like the sound and build quality over the Korg. If I could choose a new SEM or a vintage MS-20 at roughly the same price, then MS-20. Vintage SEM would trump all.

Not sure, but it reminds me of an Elgam Carousel.

A few of you were wondering about the price of the MS-20 kit in Japanese Yen. I received an e-mail from Shimamura Music informing me that it is 105,000 Yen. That works out to about $1,050 USD. Still too rich for me but any of you who live in Japan or are planning a trip over there might be interested.

Oh boy! Another one I will have to purchase after the Athena synth. Favourite mono is the Odyssey and favourite poly is a tie JP-8/OBX.
