Re: ER-301 availability and market pricing

That is bullshit, I can’t believe people would try and shank others for that. I got mine ages ago from Brian at retail and it’s been worth every penny bit $1600 or anything above retail is literally taking the piss. You can play the emulation until you get a real one - I know it’s not even remotely ...

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but has anybody tried Klavis TwinWaves as modulation buddy for this?
I find any oscillating filter which has a cleaner sine is best, DMF-2 or filter -8 where my go to’s

‘sync is awful’?” interesting, the Omega Phi has the most robust sync available on any oscillator ive seen. 4 different types of sync all simultaneously available, all with a variable set/start in the waveform so much sync it melts my brain, and it all sounds excellent to me... i dont see how one c...

Re: Quadrature LFOs, PH-8 Style... how else to do it?

This thread has made me get out the contenders and long story short, grab a filter 8 you will be very happy, no it’s not a ph-8 but you can pull a lot of the same tricks and you can even self patch the PS out to the expo fm to get a very nice shape that’s awesome in both audio and modulation modes…t...

I found the general sound awesome but the sync was awful - pity, I wanted to love it but I’m glad it’s gone tbh, bresno has been the best osc I’ve come across and it shall never leave my rack, waiting on the gen 3 (filter8 is a bear replacement for a ph8 for those interested)

... v2 is definitely going to be mini-toggles instead of the round pushbuttons the v1 had, is this correct? Those round pushbuttons were so much more cool, imo; throwing out a last ask to reconsider using them again... Thanks, regardless. those buttons are the only weak point in the v1's design imo...

yep. perception is a heck of a thing.. I repaired a Macbeth module for a friend, same old shit as anyone else. I once had a friend tell me to *raise* prices in the face of competition.. I didn't.. but it's an interesting strategy.. appeals to a certain market for sure to feel as if they've made the...

This is an obsession of mine - I have a pdo, ph8, richter Ii, modcan lfo, filter 8 - what do you want me to check :) in fact I won’t buy a Vco unless it’s quadrature - I just don’t see the point when you so easily can.

There was a sequential filter in the upcoming modules. Single channel though: http://sputnik-modular.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/SEQFILTER-1.jpg Ah word. I think you could call that inspired by but far from a clone. Aside from it being a single filter it also lacks preset functionality. But even...
