Re: Steda Electronics SR-909 Drum Machine
Can anyone help with the following questions? 1. Do I need to fit the additional small noise board? It seems to be the same as a section on the main PCB and there aren't enough parts to populate both noiseSmall.jpg 2. How do I wire up the PSU board and transformer? I think I've worked out the transf...

anyone know what to value R132 should be?
The convention in the doc is <hard to find part no>**<easy to find part no> and the values are close apart from R132.

Re: TWO59 SHAPER (Building Thread) by FEEDBACK [PCB UPDATE]
Hi, I just finished building my Shaper. The LEDs on it are painfully bright and much much brighter than on the two VCOs, so I was hoping to change the resistors to make them dimmer. I've gone through the schematic and come up with this: LED1 Sym LED R24 470R Seems ok to change LED2 Order LED No Resi...

Re: 18-channel DIY Stereo Analog Vocoder
updated pics above, hopefully you can see them this time
I made all the cables in one sitting just to get them out of the way before I built anything. It was nice to then just be able to plug them in as needed

Here are some shots of my build https://i.ibb.co/R2zpZVt/DGyYhxig.jpg https://i.ibb.co/rGyRjDn/d9-hbcow.jpg And a couple of test recordings (sorry they aren't the best as I did them as a test whilst building, but it gives you an idea of some the features :) ) [media]https://www.dropbox.com/s/jw6uypx...

Strange behaviour (PSU?) with certain Analog Modules
I have a few analog modules which behave strangly in one of my cases: * The Living Memory VCO will randomly change pitch by about a semitone every 10 seconds or so * The MFOS 16 step sequencer's random function will spend 90% of it's the time at step 1 or 16 (looking with a scope, the noise generato...

Thanks for the reply!
"If so, as stated in the user guide, you should be calibrating to 9.1V"
Ooops, yes, I was, and I didn't see that in the guide. That'll be the issue
Cheers

Re: 7Dials CV Express DIY Expression Pedal Interface
Hi, I just built mine.
When calibrating (with a Roland EV-5). The Vref only went up to 9.73V, which I assume I close enough
Is this normal, or could I have stuffed something with the build?
Thanks

Re: Euro dual Teezer?
Hi everyone, I'm just finishing off my build of this and was wondering with the 2 V/Oct inputs, has anyone normalized them together? It is a good idea or a bad idea? If good, what would be the best way to do it? (just take the v/oct signal from one of the unit's jacks and put it on the switched pin ...

Re: Anyone have the DSP Chips datasheets? CZ1, FM1, K5, K8 etc.
Thanks for the feedback eveyrone. I've managed to find source code from the links people have provided for some of his other chips. Does anyone know if ther source is available for the ones I listed above? (I could only find code for the o2 minipops and CZ1 out of that lot) I'm especially keen to fi...

Anyone have the DSP Chips datasheets? CZ1, FM1, K5, K8 etc.
Hi,
I have a bunch of the old DSP Chips chips which I wanted to finally get around to using and just realised his site seems to have dissapeared.. :(
Does anyone have documentation?
I would need it for the following:
O2
CZ1
K5
KL5
K8
ENV6
FM1
Thanks

HI Ando, I just worked out who you are! We've spoken several times on the DD build thread. It's sometimes tricky mapping FB names to Muff ones (your's is pretty easy though! :) I didn't go with the recessed nuts and thinks it's fine. Maybe they would be a little more stylish but I don't really notic...

Hey Pando, Yes, I've finished mine. I've been meaning to post some updates for a while but the world craziness distracted me :) Here it is, I went for the black look and graduated colours for the knobs. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49779521298_28e869c98d_o.jpg and here's a peek on the inside:...

Re: [ORDER] Euclidean Circles - LEDs with rhythm
I just did it. i.e. heat gun and paste and it came out MUCH better than soldering by hand.
No fogging of the lens. looks great.
Thanks for a great module

Re: [ORDER] Euclidean Circles - LEDs with rhythm
I am about to finish my second one.
Can i use a heat gun and solder paste on the leds in the ring? Or will that melt them?
Anyone tried?

Re: [ORDER] Euclidean Circles - LEDs with rhythm
HI, Just finished building by 1st Euclidean 2 and have a couple of issues: PCB version = 2.0.5d * none of the leds are lighting up at all in the rings.. * And the top encoder light is not lighting up (the bottom two are, and seem functional) I've visually inspected everything and can't see any error...

Hi, I read that someone did a mode to increase the gain on the low-gain input by changing a resistor. Any one know which resistor and what would be a suitable value? This was the quote I read: " changed a resistor value to add some gain to the low gain input. By default it was to low to my tast...
